Jan-Erik Hareid
Jan-Erik has 25 years experience in management and international business development for high tech start-ups and venture capital, including 5 years as head of Innovation Norway in San Francisco before founding Alliance Venture in 2001. Earlier in his career, he led global business development at two information technology companies and he also has work experience from an American oil company. He has an MSc. in physics and industrial engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and also has INSEAD IEP.
Bjørn Christensen
Bjørn has an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He is former General Manager for Cisco Norway since its start-up in 1993, and responsible for business development in Cisco Northern Europe the last two years before co-founding Alliance Venture in 2001. Prior to that he held management positions in networking and computer companies since 1975, including Lantec Ungermann-Bass, DEC, Control Data Corporation and AS EDB.
Erling Maartmann-Moe
Before co-founding Alliance Venture, Erling was CEO in New Media Science and director in Cell Network (1996-2001), a successful Internet consulting firm listed on the Stockholm stock exchange. Prior to this his main background is from the Norwegian Computing Center in applied research in information technology with a focus on multimedia and Internet, including the last years as research director. Erling has an MSc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Oslo and also has INSEAD IEP.
Morten Monrad
Before joining Alliance Venture in 2008, Morten worked for Cisco for more than 11 years, in various international and nordic positions, focusing mainly on business development, go-to-market strategies and sales into strategic markets such as government, defence and telecom/service provider. Prior to this Morten held product management and sales management positions with Telenor and Apple. Morten has a master degree from Norwegian School of Management (Siv.øk. BI).
Arne Tonning
Arne joined Alliance Venture from Capgemini C4 in 2008, a global management consulting team focusing on telecom, media and entertainment. Prior to this Arne spent 6 years in London with the Norwegian Trade Council/Innovation Norway. He also worked 4 years as a research scientist at SINTEF Telecom and Informatics developing wireless technologies. Arne holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA. from Hariot-Watt University.
